Respect for the earth
and the soil
With respect for a job well done, a love of the vines and family know-how, we use environmentally-friendly growing methods to continue preserving our legacy.
These earthy values continue right through to the recycling of our bottles and those of our customers.
‘Preparing for the future means above all preserving our Earth today’.
Philosophy
Respecting the typicality
of the soil
Our vineyards are grown using a reasoned agricultural approach that is kind to the people, the soil, the grapes and the environment. To support our approach, we are committed to HVE (High Environmental Value) environmental certification.
Since 2019, our estate has been certified Level 3, the highest level of certification.

“
Preparing for the future means first and foremost preserving our Earth today.
”
So, when it comes to looking after our vines, we are committed to :
-
to plant grass in the vines to reduce soil erosion and the use of herbicides.
-
to encourage deep rooting of the vines, through appropriate tillage, reducing the appearance of weeds and thus limiting the use of chemical weedkillers.
-
to pursue a strategy of systematically reducing the use of phytosanitary products, by checking the vines in each plot before treatment to see whether they need it or not, and by purchasing a latest-generation spraying machine for very precise treatment of the vines and bunches of grapes, thereby limiting the amount of drift into the atmosphere.
-
to encourage the development of biodiversity by maintaining hedges and woodland around the plots.
-
to vinify by allowing time to express the best of the terroir

In keeping with our philosophy
in the vineyard, our recent winemaking facilities enable us
to combine expertise and technical innovation to improve the quality
of our wines. Temperature control is one of the key points
in our winemaking process, ensuring the quality
and ageing potential of the wine.
Our grape variety and our terroir give us this unique AOC Bugey Cerdon wine, a sparkling rosé that is made using the ancestral method (see opposite).
The wine is made naturally using the sugars
and yeast present in the grapes.
This sparkling rosé wine is therefore 100% natural
and our appellation is the only one to produce it.
What is the ancestral method?
The ancestral method produces a sparkling wine with fine bubbles,
low alcohol content (8%) and very aromatic.

For a lively wine full
of meaning
The grapes are gently pressed to extract maximum aroma and colour, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve all the quality potential acquired in the vineyards.
The palate is intense, the attack round and elegant and the bubbles very fine... Get to know our wines better!
